I remember hearing the phrase "godless cretins" from way back in my youth.

More recently, had come to think the implications of that phrase were BS.

But anything that becomes a cliche or colloquialism, however incorrect, tends to have at least a LITTLE truth to it.

Full disclosure: I'm proudly a #GodlessCretin but evolved to this state slowly. Was a #RightWingNutJob for most of my life, obedient to my childhood indoctrination.
