So I made a little driving game in #GodotEngine4
And by that I mean, I basically barfed over the demo code. But hey you can hop in and out of the car so we're just a few hundred things from it being budget GTA!

Yeah #GodotEngine4 has been released... YES

Yeah the 5th release candidate of the #godotengine4 is there and it looks great. It fixed a lot of bugs I experienced at the Beta5 version. Especially the UI is working great now! Still trying to get into 3D #gamedev to use Godot as my new #GameJam Engine for #ludumdare :)

Today I'll start my training with #GodotEngine4 RC1 to be prepared for the next #ludumdare ... the first #gamejam I'm about to visit since my lovely daughter has been born in 2017. LudumDare 53 will start in round about 75 days, but I'm already excited, cause I had a lot of fun participating over a decade. Maybe some of you also join the jam, would be nice to hear about you then :)

I have been trying to build a beta version of #GodotEngine4 on the #OrangePi5 with #Debian Jammy 23.02.0 installed. But it keeps giving me a "fatal error: 'atomic' file not found" error. I have installed all of the LLVM, clang, and C++ source/header files (versions 11+). But the compiler can't find the sources, or something else is missing. I built version 3.5.1 of the #Godot engine with #GCC. But the latest beta and #FRT versions won't build. #GameDev #OrangePi
