In case anybody else is bothered by #gog galaxy being unable to connect to #steam, applying this beta version of the steam connector within #goggalaxy worked fine for me now: After manually applying the beta, steam asks me to log in and the integration is working fine again, as it seems. 🥳

Used a nice little trick i've learned recently, which installs the required dependencies in a local module folder rather than in the system / user folder. Stops the clutter ❣

Is Gog Galaxy 2 dead? All the community integrations haven't been touched since 2021, with the Steam and Ubisoft integrations simply broken and the app itself is still in "beta", several years after launch, with no noticeable changes since launch.

Ich freue mich auf #GoGGalaxy 2.0 - endlich alles in einem Launcher, ohne viel Aufwand.
Bisher Versuche ich alles in #Steam zu integrieren, aber die anderen Launcher bleiben dann offen und meine Aktivität wird nicht zentral getrackt.
Gibt es noch sowas wie #XFire?
