Still thinking about the endless corridors of undelivered mail in #GoingPostal and it is such a good metaphor for my huge list of unfinished tasks due to adhd. It is so overwhelming. I felt so seen by that.

Just got back from #DungeonsAndDragons #HonorAmongThieves and it was fun! Much better than that 2000 one, although that is a low bar to clear. If they ever do an accurate adaptation of #TerryPratchett 's #GoingPostal , I think Hugh Grant should play Reacher Gilt and I never thought I would pick him for a role ever.
No spoilers here but there is one moment that totally rips off the "puny god" scene from #Avengers

@Myoldpiano #GoingPostal Sorry I missed this comment yesterday but it was when Tamsin Greig who played Miss Cripslock the reporter said that tree trunk the treasure was under described as the praying man looked more like an 🐘 trunk there was a chorus of "Heretic" a homage nod to a scene in "Life of Brian" If i were a faster typist during the live toot I'd have said she looked like she had read pTerry more widely when she ordered 2 figgins from the ☕ stall just before the treasure dig.

#GoingPostal But my beard did get 1.5 seconds of fame framing Adoras face on one side during the hanging scene also between takes the hangman sang a duet of the little mermaid song with one of the fan extras whilst I was being used as Claire Foy's mark hence my beards 1.5 second of fame whilst she stood on a step stool & lent on me and another guy when looking a Richard about to be hung

#GoingPostal The guy who played me was sadly lacking in the beard department though he did the "Iterative Beta Testing" line very well not that I am that kind of geek/nerd😜 but at the time the book was written I was IT manager for a sustainable energy consultancy that was based in a listed building & my server room was actually a converted pigeon loft🐦
