@Quilty Right? There are other scandi words I wish we had too like #gökotta or #friluftsliv. And I have yet to find another language that has an equivalent of the Sanskrit word #Mudita. One word can have a lot of influence.

The prompt from jamuary.org for today : "Choose a word that is hard to translate and try to write a song that captures its meaning."

I chose "Gökotta" from Swedish, meaning "waking up early to hear the first birds sing".

So I Gökotted this morning, and the birds told me I was not practicing enough Jazz standards, and also that "Body And Soul" would suit them very much.
