Wow, this turned out to be very pretty!

Generation algorithm: Each seed moves linearly outwards from the center at a fixed angle and growing in size proportional to the square root of its distance from the center. Each seed spawns once every frame and the fixed angle is a multiple of the golden angle (~137.5°).

I had never looked into #PenroseTilings at all & I'm grateful for the introducción to them.

My son had done a science fair project on the #GoldenRatio and the Fibonacci sequence - when I had taught at a public school the sixth graders close between: the #FibonacciSequence Escher's work or tangrams, so I suggested he look at the three #maths concepts.

Ever heard of the Fibonacci sequence, in which any new number is the sum of its two predecessors?

1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc.

But what happens, when we divide the numbers by its predecessor?
We approximate another famous number which plays an important role in art and architecture. Can you guess which one?

2/1 =2
3/2 =1,5
5/3 =1,666...
8/5 =1,6
13/8=1,625

This one I was having fun with the Golden Spiral, based on the Golden Ratio. Did you know there are other "metallic ratios" that can form spirals? In this image, the Golden Spiral is on top, followed by the Silver, Bronze, and 28 others that don't have names, all based on the series of ratios.

Maybe we should come up with names for them. Sticking with the metallic theme, where should we put tungsten, zinc, tin...?

Guitar speakers need to be driven a bit to sound their best, they don't sound the same at all levels. a 12" speaker, even a low power one like this, gets inconveniently loud for home use when driven to it's sweet spot.
