I had two flags flying from Walter’s pickup box at the show yesterday, the U.S. flag on the driver’s side and the Gold Star flag on the passenger side. There have been those who’ve asked about the Gold Star flag and I give them a little history lesson, starting with the establishment of the Gold Star Mothers of America after World War 1. “I never knew that,” they say. “Thanks for letting me know.”

I really appreciate Mastodon. I lost my voice on Twitter and chose not to post or reply for the most part, and would simply retweet. This exoplanet is 12,400 LY from earth & estimated to be 12.7 billion years old!
