Unfortunately, my next door neighbour has gone to A&E so she's asked me to check in on, and feed Bobbie, her #cat. He'd left her a little gift so I got rid of that, washed all his dirty pots, dried him off after he'd come in from the #Mancunian rain, swept up his discarded biscuits and put him down fresh food and water. Lots of downed trees and blocked up gutters and drains in the road so we started our near year with a walk around our neighborhood and park with a rake to unclog the street gutters and drains. Trying to start a tradition with my kids of starting the year with #gooddeeds and #community. I was surprised by how many people were surprised that anyone was bothering to help.
