Be enough
To hold all the stars
To master the breeze in the sky
To tame the waves from the watery depths below me
And I worry no one will love me when I can no longer love my own self

Be it Resolved, a #GoodnightPoem

Whereas, the words of my mouth make no sense to my own ears;
Whereas, the person I see now in the mirror is someone I don't recognize;
Whereas, the sum of my existence doesn't even reach the potential within me;
Be it resolved...
That I will grow in intelligence,
That I will remove my proverbial mask,
And that I will work to make an impact on my world,
So one day I will see the light again.

Here is a box
Of memories for you.
I've counted them all
And polished them too.

Collected treasures
From such precious times
Shan't collect dust,
For that'd be a crime.

Let us share them,
And unite again as one,
Enjoying our memories
Under a harsh winter's sun

1) Untitled (Any name ideas?)
Tears fall from my face
Like raindrops from a sky
Now I tell myself that lie.
"It's okay to cry"

2) A Tropical Storm Tanka
Sand grains piling up
On a turtle-filled sea shore.
One by one they fall.
A beach-bound storm approaches.
Turtles are no more.
