My thoughts on #GoodOmensS2 : a lot of it is pointless. It could have been a short film. Like, who cares about Sfax's backstory? Her motivations aren't complex.

But weirdly enough, the actual main plot and 'mystery' is underdevelopped. Why is Aziraphale suddenly stopping his investigations when he has a lead??? How did Gabriel, who was a big fan of Armageddon, come to change his mind?

The ending is interesting though. It uses an implicit conflict between the two main characters: Aziraphale, despite the evidence and his better judgement, is still clinging to the heavens' ideology. He thinks angels just need a slightly different method but doesn't reject their core beliefs. He still thinks he can turn Crowley into an angel and that would be a desirable outcome.

However, ending their situationship with a sexual assault is... eugh.

Also I liked the fact that there are basically no cishet couples in the story.

I'm also enjoying playing the "spot the #Edinburgh locations" being used in #GoodOmensS2 . The always photogenic Circus Lane already popped up.

And I also missed some of the Pratchett-inspired elements, characters, and humor that made me love the show in the first place. I don't mean it as a critic. Like someone on discord said, I’d also prefer that Gaiman writes in his way instead of trying to emulate Sir Terry’s writing style. But still, nostalgia, you know?
