Taco friday with my children and @Linuxtjej is always a #goodthing. Some things I never get tired of.

The position I am offered involves weekly commuting, which I am not too happy about.

I got news from a colleague (and former student) that they're quitting their current job at an employer for which I have done some consulting work over the last few months. I have tried to reach the consulting manager over the last few days, and today I finally succeeded.

They were interested and agreed to meet next week, cancelling their vacation. That is truly good news and certainly today's #goodthing!

I've got some catching up to do writing about #goodthings. It started as an assignment in my rehabilitation at the stress clinic. I really hated it at first because I was so stubbornly stuck with all the bad things that had happened and happened to me. But I soon found that talking about #goodthings is a #goodthing in itself.

Having a look at my own Mastodon timeline from time to time really helps not getting caught up in self-pitying, anger and bitterness.

So here we go.
