Ok, so Google's logic is very strange.

Your child has a Google account and wants to use it on her tablet. To do that you need to log in with a parent account on that tablet and only then child account could be added.

So your kid will be handling everywhere a tablet which is a direct gateway to all your private stuff. This is so freaking strange! I have no idea why Google still doesn't have some kind of restricted account access for such cases. Instead, you log in on any Android device, and all your Google services become available automatically.

Today I disconnected my Yubi key and enabled passkey for my private Google account. Being in the Apple world, I hope sync of my passkeys with iCloud will be sufficient…

Lets see how this go! But I am a long way from ditching my 2FA verification app and password manager.

Wenn nur auf eine #App gesetzt wird, braucht man, um den #ÖPNV nutzen zu können, zwingend ein #Smartphone. Aber nicht irgendeins.

Wer kein #iPhone hat/will, braucht ein #Android-Gerät. Mit #GooglePlayServices und #GooglePlayStore. Und einen #GoogleAccount. Anders kommt man nämlich an kommerzielle #Apps nicht ran.

Ich könnte dann nur noch #radfahren trotz #AlienDalvik.

Sonst ginge noch eine #Chipkarte.
