Here in 2023 I keep getting sexually explicit spam CC-ing me and many other people through #GoogleApps.

#Google has the technology to automatically weed out 99% of this behavior: Is it a new account? Is it sent to a bunch of people at once? Does the AI algorithm detect sexually explicit content? If so, it should be an easy block.

They have the technology. They just choose not to use it because more eyeballs makes them more money. I'm tired of it. That's why I'm #degoogling.

#Test - Try to use click and drag to select a group of cells from a column of email addresses.

#Fail - during the drag motion, one of the email addresses will, when added to the selection, throw up an information "contact card". This card will capture the pointer and prevent further cells from being added to the selection.

Can you guess how to print from the #GoogleApps Forms #UI #fail? It depends what you want to print!

Do you want to print the current individual response?

Then click the printer icon
OR
the top kebab icon beside the "Send" button!

Want to print all responses? Click the identical kebab icon beside "Link to sheets"!

Marvel at the "Link to Sheets" which is presented as a browser #hyperlink until your mouse hovers over at which point it subtly shades to looks something like a button, but not like any other button in the app!

All this of course makes the Forms app 3x easier to learn. It's #science !

I try to #login with the original #mastodonapp on my #lineagos #device. The #app ask me for #autorisation which leads to the #browser opens with this:
"mastodon-android-auth://callback?code=xxxyyy-code-example"

(deleted original #code). #android

Question:

1 - what to do?
2 - Expects the App Installed #GoogleApps? I have NOT installed GoogleApps & do not want 2 have these on my device!
3 - Yes, there are a lot of client-alternatives for #mastodon, but will developers of the orig. App fix it?

The government of New Zealand should take note of this decision from the French government: https://questions.assemblee-nationale.fr/q16/16-971QE.htm They are banning the use of #MSOffice365 & #GoogleApps in French #education on the basis of lost #dataSovereignty, including contravening the #GDPR. NZ needs to learn from this.
