Users of #Google #Nest #thermostat -- what has your experience been like?

I was just told by Google support that the Nest degrades over time, and they insinuated that it won't last much longer than three years. This is exactly my experience: Dead shortly after the warranty is up.

$250 for a product that lasts 36 months means the Nest is really a $7/month subscription. Not worth it in my opinion! #GoogleHardwareSucks #PlannedObsolescence
