I have to use #MSTeams everyday for work. I got used to how bad it is. Today I needed to get into a call in #GoogleMeet. OMG, it felt my computer was new again! With MSTeams everything gets slower and slower.

#GoogleMeet підтримуватиме відеодзвінки у форматі 1080p, але ця функція буде доступною лише для платних тарифів #Workspace і #GoogleOne.

Функцію відеодзвінків 1080p можна буде увімкнути натиснувши на три крапки у верхньому правому куті каналу та обрати «Увімкнути HD-відео».

До цього Google #Meet підтримував роздільну здатність до 720p.

Для порівняння, #Zoom і #MicrosoftTeams вже підтримують дзвінки у форматі 1080p.

The new trend in video calls seems to be intentionally keeping your camera turned off. The higher up the ladder you are, the more common it is. I find this to be baffling. As a consultant, part of my role is to build relationships between different teams to get the job done. This just makes things more difficult. It signals that you are not going to be fully present for the discussion.

Sometimes I like to check #WhatsNew with an #app before I do #updates. I really don't use #Skype anymore. These days it's mostly just #Viber and #Zoom. Occasionally, #GoogleMeet. I'm actually thinking I should just uninstall Skype.

But I saw something interesting in Skype's app update: "#Truvoice #AI to use your own voice during a translated call in Skype".
