#google ha afegit una nova opció a #googleone . Permet analitzar a la #darkweb, o web fosca, les nostres dades que Google te desades (correu, número de telefon,...).

L'objectiu es intentar localitzar-les i, en cas positiu, poder procedir a resoldre possibles problemes relacionats, com per exemple, canviar la #parauladepas i activar el #doblefactor d'autenticació.

So I need to use #GoogleOne to back up my Android phone.

And there's evidently no option to CHOOSE what I back up. It's all or nothing. So I'm forced to back up all the photos I have backed up elsewhere.

Rather incongruent with Google's claim to "Manage your backup easily".

Has anyone ever tried the #VPN solution that comes with #GoogleOne #CloudStorage plan?
I mean sure, it's not as good as some well established brands like #NordVPN, #ExpressVPN, #SurfShark etc. but then again, 2€/month is literally barely anything and it also comes with the increased storage capacity.

What #Google 's VPN lacks is location spoofing but I'm not trying to circumvent any geoblocks or things like that. Mainly interested in a basic extra layer in terms of #security on public #wifi s

Pago por #GoogleOne de 2 TB y he estado viendo publicidad en #Gmail todo este tiempo. Creo que es lo que más me molesta del servicio. Parece ser que ahora es incluso más molesta y me alegro enormemente de haber migrado a otro servicio de correo.

Como ya comenté, fue a iCloud, pero inicialmente iba a ser Proton Mail. Sin embargo, la gestión de Oculta mi correo electrónico tan integrada en iOS/macOS hizo que me decantase por el servicio de Apple.

No puedo estar más contento con la decisión.

In quest'ultima settimana ho sostituito #Windows11 sui miei 3 pc desktop (casa, ufficio, notebook) con #Kubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Ho abbandonato dopo 10/12 anni #chrome (non l'ho proprio reinstallato) sostituendolo con #brave (sul telefono lo avevo fatto già da un paio di anni).

Ho disdetto l'abbonamento a #GoogleOne, sostituendo drive, photo, office con #NextCloud.

Ho disinstallato dal telefono le app di #Facekook e #Messenger che continuerò ad usare solo un paio di volte a settimana dal pc per controllare un paio di gruppi che seguo ancora, il profilo è ridotto ai minimi termini. Gruppi dei quali comunque mi frega sempre meno, e la disattivazione definitiva dell'account è solo questione di tempo. (#instagram e #twitter li avevo già tolti un paio di anni fa).

Quando si dice "pulizie di primavera". ❤️

da ich ein kleines #GoogleOne Abo habe, um meinen Online-Speicherplatz zu erweitern (Pixel 6 Pro User, der seine Bilder in der Wolke sichert), habe ich gerade von Google ein neues Feature bekommen: VPN.

Hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Google VPN? Warum ein #VPN wichtig ist, habe ich schon verstanden. Aber was kann der Google VPN? Und was kann er nicht? :-) #P6P

As I'm still with them and encountered some inconveniences, I believe in the power of #Nextcloud and I'm seeking for an affordable and stable provider to try it out.

P.S. I also considered #iCloud+ but I wouldn't be able to upload my photos from Android. #GoogleOne is still an option as it is cheaper than others and multi-platform. And they are both still Apple and Google with their big-brother interests.
