@anniemo71 Freedom!! I use alias emails all the time, particularly for shopping. Saves a lot of hassle/a messy inbox full of "you've left x in your basket"/"if you bought x you might like y" shite.
It's a lovely feeling to have no micro-targetting or be followed about the place all the time.

A lot of work
contacting people who have my Google address but it's almost done
Most I could do on-line myself but some sites won't let you so had to email or ring

It's taken several weeks!

All my photos are now on external hard drive

Files now open source

I have new email addresses Secure browsers & am using alias emails to stop tracking & spam

Lots of other stuff to do but have a lot of help from certain people on here 🤗

I consolidated all my contacts & details into Gmail. (They won't allow us to print a list of names including details of address, phone (only CSV and Vcards)

I was planning to use Proton's Easy Switch to transfer my contacts from Gmail to Proton but they all imported as CVS too! With attachments
Not much use to me! 😳

What do I do now & has anyone else had this and worked out the answer

I haven't lost the details as they are hand written in my diary! 😁
