Playing with Bulk Data Export for #GoogleSearchConsole,

I hope for the future the addition of a suffix as an id for the BigQuery dataset name (like GA does in BigQuery) to export several GSC properties in a one project, & so avoiding to create specific projects by site, language, etc.

This kind of limitation reminds me Google Analytics linking with a 1,1 relation between GA properties and GSC properties.

Since many people use now browsers with "do not track" as default and declining cookie and as someone who implements stats in line with DSVGO GDPR laws, my statistics for most sites are pretty useless. The only eventually data I get from Google Search Console and paid Google Ads clicks (if there is a campaign).
I would love to hear from other #webdevs how they deal with it.
And I am pretty confident, if your sites don't have millions of visits, and you implemented everything in line with laws, without any dark patterns, this is pretty similar.

How do we sell this to our clients?

Da viele Menschen heute Browser mit "do not track" als Standardeinstellung verwenden und Cookies ablehnen, als jemand, der Statistiken im Einklang mit den DSVGO GDPR-Gesetzen implementiert, sind meine Statistiken für die meisten Websites recht nutzlos geworden. Die einzigen noch aussagekräftigen Daten erhalte ich von Google Search Console und bezahlten Google Ads Klicks (wenn es eine Kampagne gibt).

Since Google Search Console ONLY shows Core Web Vitals and Page Experience metrics for "sufficiently popular sites" that have enough CRUX data, I am wondering.

Do you think that small, less than 1K page, mom-and-pop websites should stress out about CWV since Google SAYS they only count CWV if there is CRUX data?

I mean, I know that sites need to be fast, but these smaller owners CANNOT afford developers to maintain CWV.

@thetafferboy Happy New Year, Mark. I wonder if you'd mind a question about #GoogleSearchConsole that's been on my mind for ages and I haven't been able to find an answer to. Months ago, I updated a website to use prettier URLs without the .html suffix. I updated all internal links, submitted a new site map, and set up a 301 redirect from "whatever.html" to "whatever". But ever since, Search Console has looked like this screenshot. The grey pages are the old URLs ending in .html, which Search Console says are not indexed because they're redirects. That's expected, but how do I get rid of them from Search Console altogether? #SEO

How long does it take for #Google to index a new domain? I requested indexing ~24 hours ago in #GoogleSearchConsole. It says the page has been crawled, but it still isn't indexed.

From my understanding, there is no general SLO on indexing times, but is it normal to wait this long? Does this indicate something wrong with my page, or do I just need to keep waiting?
