It is silly that you have to do something like this to see an actual minus sign (−) and not a dash (-). En-dash (–) and em-dash (—) are also different things.

To explain a bit, you do your calculations in, say, Google Sheets, hide the result cell somewhere, and then put this formula where you want to see a result. A1 is the hidden cell.

I open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
It opens sized at 100%.
I can't view the whole sheet so I resize to 50%. Perfect!
I edit and close the sheet.
I later open the same sheet and it is sized again at 100%
I resize to 50%.

Setting up #onlyoffice was an absolute no-brainer and so far it seems to be a great substitute for #googlesheets .

I use spreadsheet calculations mostly for expenses and other low level stuff and so far I haven't run into any complications.

Hey let's have a rant about #spreadsheets that literally no-one asked for. (#LibreOffice, #excel, #numbers, #googlesheets)

(And quick "my opinion" disclaimer; I'm going to be rather strident in some claims for the sake of Comedy™, but they will reflect my experience.)

Namely why Apple's version of Excel, Numbers, is actually the best except it's not because it can't sometimes do the things I /want/ it to do. And this boils down to one thing that everyone seems to get wrong.
