Headline: "ABC News Reporter, Who ‘Debunked’ Pizzagate, Pleads Guilty to Child Rape"

The sensational part is almost true. #GordonMeek pled guilty to having child porn.

The seemingly less controversial part is the deception. Meek may have written about Pizzagate, but he didn't play any significant role in debunking it.

The obvious goal: Resurrect the #Pizzagate theory by casting doubt on someone who wasn't its debunker. Clever sleight of hand.
