First evening of #GordonResearchConference was promising! Dinner was ok and the talks were fantastic. Grateful to Carla and Rusty for being my small group partners tonight. Glad my poster is at the first session tomorrow, I think it will help me meet people. I’m feeling optimistic. #ProfLife

GRC policy is that all presentations and posters are “off the record”. Well, I guess I won’t be posting about what I hear at this #GordonResearchConference.

Honesty time: I’m nervous about this conference. I’ve never been to a #GordonResearchConference and the format is intimidating. The speakers all have amazing titles and impressive CVs. I am not staying in the dorms (thankfully) but wonder if that will make it harder to connect with people. 1/n
