It is all good. We are handling the public land over to Lend Lease, to build 4 story buildings over the water and block the views of the water unless you are paying Lend Lease. Also going to fill up that water with ugly moored for the rich.

Parking for those visiting will be available 2 km away. The road will stay.

Kulchural run of the week

Returning from Edinburg we stopped for a wee run at Gosford house, a magnificent pile with a stark but impressive Mausoleum. Lovely grounds and flat mixed running in and around - tarmac, cinder and turf. 14k easy.

Of course the question of where the money came from - slavery, clearance and more honest robbery remains unclear - but what the hell, the Duke got a great house.

Just walked in to the dodgiest bottle shop I've ever seen, right in the middle of the CBD. 3 fridges of beer, and 12 of Woodstock/cider/Bundy

What possessed their urban planners? They're like here's a nice walkable urban centre on a lake. Maybe we should put a fucking 4 lane highway across the front of it, with no pedestrian access
