The building is #GothicRevival built from ashlar sandstone with a slate pitched roof.

Love all the different shapes around the doorway to Saint Mary's Episcopal Cathedral on Great Western Road in Glasgow.
This gothic revival masterpiece was designed by George Gilbert Scott and built in the 1870s.

The entrace to St Mary's Cathedral on Great Western Road in Glasgow.
Completed in 1893, it was designed by Sir Gilbert Scott, who also designed the nearby main building of Glasgow University in a similar Gothic Revival style.

5/5 Pugin's The Grange In the final snaps in this set from @awnpugin 's house in Ramsgate we see the dining room, a corridor and a bedroom.
You can book the house for a short break from the Landmark Trust and it sleeps eight. If you fill the spaces it's relatively affordable for a big, well-equipped and fascinatingly beautiful house.

4/5 Pugin's The Grange. This is the extended porch/passageway added to the Grange from its front door, by Edward Pugin (the son of Augustus).
It's a fine construction and make a striking photo, but I'm not entirely sure what the point of it is as it cuts the front yard/garden in two without getting close enough to the studios to provide a proper covered walkway.

As well as the sumptuous gothic revival design, the house broke with the idea that domestic houses should be symmetrical. Here form follows function.

The Grange was the home designed by Augustus Pugin best known as the designer of the interior of the Palace of Westminster (the UK's parliament).
