The lesson on this #speakerofthehouse debacle is simply "Be careful what you wish for and how you manipulate things to achieve your goal". 1st gerrymandering has created very homogeneous districts that guarantees a win but their constituents are less willing to compromise on issues. 2nd - McCarthy sold his soul to be Speaker & his own colleagues say they don't trust him. So many run for office to serve the public then get elected and serve themselves. #GovernmentDysfunction
