There's outrage today about #tiktok violating user #privacy by sharing #personaldata of its users. This includes names, addresses, & photos of DRIVER'S LICENCES & PASSPORTS with 1000s of employees in #china
I don't like that either, but...
TikTok had images of people's licenses and passports... BECAUSE FOLKS WILLINGLY GAVE THOSE TO TIKTOK.
People: NEVER provide your #personaldata or #governmentID to a social media company.
Literally: never.
