They have removed the meds I was recommended from Repeat. I now have to state the drug and the reason.
In other words, they make me beg.

According to Chris Hedges, Green Party has had to pay over a million dollars in legal fees to defend their right to ballot access. That's a lot of money for a small, grassroots party with no corporate backing. Make no mistake: the Democrat party is vicious and will sue and litigate against the Green Party every step of the way. They blame the Green Party for Hillary Clinton's loss to Trump since Green Party exceeded the margin of Trump's victory in some key states. Yet democrats have also not lifted a finger to fight for Ranked Choice Voting nor Star Voting and indeed have often fought against it. Nor do many Dems acknowledge many GP voters would not have voted for Clinton under any circumstance.

At this point, I think the Green Party has only secured ballot access in about 20 states. In the best case scenario, GP might be able to secure 20 more. Every state has different laws and hurdles to jump thru, and many of them are ruled by aggressively hostile Democrats, the very same ones who put their finger on the scale to try to keep progressives within their own party from winning.

It's a long, sad, expensive journey. But democracy is worth fighting for.

Towards the end of my #GP appointment the other day my #doctor asked "How's that other thing going?", meaning my incredibly acrimonious breakup from 6 years ago, which he was both subpoenaed for and provided medical tests as part of.

Normally I have a warning before anyone approaches that dark hole, so it caught me off guard and I ended up in tears.

But after, I felt better, because it showed me he cared.

There's value in having a good regular doctor.

A few days ago I mentioned the saga of Mrs Mike trying to get an #NHS hearing test, and getting the runaround from our #GP surgery.

We put in an 'admin request' for advice (a veiled complaint).

She was given a same day appointment for a GP today and now has an appointment with the local #Audiology service.

It shouldn't be this difficult.

The TL;DR saga of Anna’s magnesium infusions:

Magnesium/Hartmanns IV infusions are the only thing that help me with all my symptoms but especially #ChronicPain #POTS #Hypovolemia & #migraine.

My former #GP was too dumb to write a care plan properly so the local hospital had to reject it (I checked with the nurse unit manager). Then he dumped me as a patient because the work was too hard. I could be getting them done for a small fee via ‘Hospital in the Home’ by now but instead I have to pay for them privately.

Guess how much they are? $500! Yes, each. Aaaaahhhh! No Medicare rebate. But I can’t put it off anymore, I have to get out of this bed and the pain is intolerable. Yes, they have to be done at home, I’m bedridden. I can’t go to hospital/day procedure without a valid care plan. ER will not do it.

I have a favour to ask as a last ditch attempt to make this affordable: Are there any #nurses, #doctors or other people here who are qualified to administer IVs in #Melbourne who are willing to help me out for less? I’ve got the referral, the magnesium, just have to get the Hartmanns and equipment from a medical supplier. You are legally covered. The GP who wrote the referral will even talk to you if you have questions.

Yes, already checked places like HireUp and they can’t promise me their nurses are qualified as they Police check not qualifications check (wtf right?), and private nursing agencies are short staffed in my area.

If anyone can help me out I will pay you fairly and will be extremely grateful. I need them about once a month and at $500 each I am not sure how I’m going to do it otherwise.
