One week in, and touch thumb pecking at 12 wpm (peak 28) is... survivable.

Will be modifying it to fit my tactile behind-the-screeen keyboard (which I designed a couple years ago and you can see the PCB of one out of two keyboard modules is in the pictures as well).

176 followers · 1947 posts · Server sakurajima.moeLooks like the GPD Win 4 could be a very good alternative to the Steam Deck, which I find a bit lacking in the screen, CPU power, and comort (for people with small hands) along with a more practical size. The Steam Deck is just way too big.
I guess this will make a pretty go on the go machine for SSH, when you need it with the built in keyboard.
It looks like opening the device up to upgrade the SSD may be a challenge, although I have an iFixit kit.
