Gpg-tui

3006.3 is out! 🎉

Do you want to try your current configuration with this version easily?

You can do it with and my custom image, which has some nice features like and encryption out of the box. It includes secrets for handling your private keys, as well as support:

```
docker pull ghcr.io/cdalvaro/docker-salt-master:3006.3
```

Finally created an account on sr.ht/ - what a great experience! No-frills webinterface and support out of the box.
And I loved "if you are unhappy with stripe payment, get in touch". This is really how it should be, I feel heard!

Posting a link to my public key so those wishing to send me email can easily find it, and I'll try and see if I can pin it to the top of my profile page: keys.openpgp.org/vks/v1/by-fin

Its 2023. Why is documentation and usage still so cryptic and/or outdated?

📢 Announcing the relaunch of my blog!

📝 New Post: Claiming Your Git Identity with Commit Signatures

It’s extremely easy to falsify author information with Git and have it appear as if someone else made a given commit. This could lead to malicious code making its way into your repo with legit looking author info. Using GnuPG (GPG) developers can sign, and others can verify, commits are truly from the right person. Read on to find out more...

Sad to see that keybase.io is dead. It had so much potential and made GPG key management and proof of (website) identity so easy.

The server component was never open-sourced, just the clients were. Not much development on the public GitHub repos since the Zoom acquisition in 2020.

I just deleted my account and removed it from my website :blobcatsadlife:

Une idée de la différence entre les options --armor et --armour, dans gpg ?
Rien dans le man, rien dans le --help, et pas vraiment de résultat sur DDG ou Googueule.

@5am Yes, but I think commits signed before the key expires or is revoked should be good, correct? Otherwise, many commits may be marked as unverified simply due to two ( key pair) files being lost.

I'm unsure if I should keep signing my commits, as I don't want nearly all of my commits to be marked as unverified if something happens to my GPG key.

I'm unsure if signing my commits is the best idea. When my key expires, commits will show on as unverified. Should I stop signing my commits? I'm aware you can renew keys. However, if you no longer have access to the key, then it can't be renewed.

If a GPG key could no longer be retrieved, all commits signed with that key would appear as unverified, from what I understand.

Perhaps for more visibility? :blobcatshrug:

So many of those blogs about being bad make this weird mistake of going "but there are no good reasons to encrypt messages or files as standalone units, use encrypted chat/synchronous transfer like magic-wormhole", completely ignoring that is a use-case that absolutely should be supported.

So that leaves you with or (among others), though many of those articles fail to mention either of them.

Why do people assume reliable low-latency connectivity?
