The whole #OpenGameLicense debacle reminds me a lot of when version 3 of the #GNU #GPL came out, except that this time it's being done by a for-profit company that may make use of the new terms to go after other for-profit companies, so it's much more difficult to support the decision on intent (regardless of wording).

I came upon #FHeroes2 which is a #GPL2 re-implementation of a proprietary game related to ones I had played in what now feels like the ancient past.

But... it is just a game engine. To actually play fheroes2, you need to get a copy of the original game.

@znerol clarification. it is they who are arguing that the #GPL2 is triggered. indeed this is client side #javascript code, in fact it is commonly not pulled in as a dependency but loaded in as a separate JS file. anyway, their argument imho has no legal basis. but honestly if this is their interpretation, I will stay clear. I wanted to use their GPL2 license for non paying users but pay to use their proprietary plugins for users subscribed to my #SaaS service.

currently talking to a company that dual-licenses #Javascript code under the #GPL2 and proprietary licenses, that seems to argue that using the GPL2 license for their code would mean that the entire backend code would need to be licensed under a GPL2 compatible license. interestingly they are not arguing that one can only use the GPL2 license for their code while using a browser with a GPL2 compatible license.

Chaque rectangle représente un fichier, la taille étant proportionnelle à l'espace disque occupé.

Depuis l'interface on peut connaître le nom du fichier, sa taille et il est possible de le supprimer ou l'effacer. Vraiment très pratique !

À posséder impérativement dans sa logithèque !
