@killyourfm Note: only some of the models available to #GPT4All are offline. For example if you want to use the ChatGPT4 model, you still need an API key and it states that it will send all of your chats to #openAI. That said it does have a number of models (eg Wizard) that are local only.

Still, a nice find!

Now to see if I can fool these models into creating horrific lovecraftian nightmare texts as easily as with #ChatGPT4 (eg appendectomy instructions, roadkill recipes etc)

Fiz usando a versão quantizada disponível no #gpt4all.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the free and open source AI large language models like Vinuca, Llama, and all the other models available in GPT4all, that not only runs locally on personal computers, but also uses CPU to reduce power usage, thusly being more environmentally friendly. #AI #FOSS #GPT4all

Bisschen mit #gpt4all rumspielen. Schon interessant ...

#chatgpt kennt mittlerweile jeder. Es ist fast noch spannender, wenn man so ein System lokal auf seinem Rechner laufen lassen kann. Das Projekt #gpt4all macht das möglich. Man kann - einen halbwegs modernen Rechner vorausgesetzt - diverse vortrainierte Modelle laden, testen und vergleichen. Und das komplett ohne Internetzugang.

24 hours with #gpt4all (ubuntu version) - now I have removed it completly. to many crashes and segmentation faults! didn't see those since early unix days :-/
