But before it worked for me I had to get rid of four older coax lines, connectors and a dummy load to trash. Next try with new material... No problems any more. I do not recommend to buy such material at a flea-market.

Hi, this is not a new idea. In Amateur Radio for nearly 20 years soundcards / modems are used for decoding / encoding digital transmissions. You can test it with a Shortwave allmode receiver or other amateur TRX. Programs a free download e.g. Fldigi, digipan. Just install the software, read the manual, tune your radio to the right frequency, mode mostly used: USB.
Put the Computer Mic next to the TRX -Speaker and read ...
