@DavidKnuffke It’s that power disparity that feeds so much of the problems that we see in a traditional classroom, isn’t it? When students feel punished by a system they push back against it.

We share a desire to put kids in the drivers seat of their education and teach them to monitor their own learning. How do you deal with the students who are only motivated by the fear of a bad grade?

@mszwiebel: i know that total freedom isn't for everyone but i feel like the way the education system is setup is abelist, racist, founded on distrust and stuck in the 90s withou a internet connection. With so much good education online the role of local lecturers changes a lot. I wish we would allow for individual learning styles and focus on guidance not on grading. #goinggradeless #gradeless #education
