Habt ihr Erfahrungen mit ? Lohnt die doch nicht ganz so günstige Premiumversion? Gerade bei englischen Texten kann ich Stützräder durchaus gebrauchen, genauso wie allgemein Hilfe beim prägnanten Formulieren.

I've been running Tomorrow's Songs Today through for the second edition. There's so much fannish and jargon that 95% of the suggestions are nonsense, but it's found enough typos to be worth it.

Bruker du grammatikk-vaskeren Grammarly? Vær obs på at alt du gir den, vil nå bli brukt til å konstruere en AI/LLM lik ChatGPT. Eneste mulighet til å unngå dette er å kjøpe en enterprise listens, eller å la være å bruke Grammarly.

I'm currently turning an I had a while back into prose. I want it to be a wholesome story and give it a warm tone. I'm using , but it's the free version, and I've realized something.

Grammarly Premium is not worth buying.

It tells you what "premium issues" you have, and where they are. It just doesn't let you know which is which.

All you need is a good enough understanding of , and you can DIY Grammarly Premium for free.

Maybe has improved a little since this test by Lane Greene at the Economist, but it remains a cautionary case study:

@sogerald Your instance is apt. ;) Anyway, not a fan of since it is often wrong but I really enjoy which integrates nearly everywhere (Word, Notes (on a Mac), Scrivener, Gmail. (I would not, however, submit long work just using the software. Hire an editor!)

I'm ambivalent about like . On the one hand, a grammar check is always handy. On the other, it can be misused. Users can blindly accept its suggestions or have rewrite text for them. Ideally grammar software should encourage users to learn and internalize a sense of proper for themselves, similar to how and should work with .

Lost my writing streak at 104 (the plug-in logged out, forgot to check).

What's the point of life now? What to do with it?

TIL about and it sounds too good to be true. It’s a spell checker ala , but it can be self-hosted or run locally. Will definitely check it out soon.

🚀Soft launching safeTyper (MVP) after it has been validated by 25 lovely people ($581). 💜

It is not much, but still it was just an idea, nothing was written except a single tweet. 💪

There is lots of room for improvement!

Any tips for alternatives for ? It has gotten so bad that I can't use it productively.

It keeps insisting on switching the subject and object in sentences, and when there is a proper noun in the sentence, it goes completely haywire.
