Today, I began reading this book #GrammarOfGraphics.
I'm gonna admit that the introduction scared me a little bit. I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it, bit at least I'm going to give it a try.
My goal is to understand better the principles behind graphics making, so I can select more appropriate charts or programming better ones
Just released an update to gg-aframe, the #GrammarOfGraphics #DataViz library for #AFrameVR
- Improved performance from ~150 points at 90FPS to 50,000+ points at 90 FPS (hooray for GPU instancing!)
- New aesthetic mappings: spin and oscillate
I'm so excited for all the new possibilities for exploring #data in #VR
