On the subject of teaching kids the basics, you can't do much better than #GrandmotherFish! This book teaches #evolution & #phylogeny in a remarkably intuitive way, encouraging kids to actively participate in the story by examining the features & abilities they have inherited from successive generations of #prehistoric ancestors! It's cute as heck, too.
