After being unwilling to renew contract for service with the Rapid [for route #29] Cascade Township has contracted an hourly shuttle service which will operate 13 hours a day (6am-11am,1pm-11pm), Monday - Friday. The township supervisor describes this alternative as "more cost effective".
Transit options for people with mobility challenges or special needs are 'being worked on'. After August 27th those citizens lost service.
