While rummaging for gold ochre, I found another black - bloodstone genuine. I was feeling ready to set up an indoor palette but instead I cleaned up stuff and then since I'd sound the two gold ochres I did swatching and tried them both with French ultramarine to see what I remembered about them making a double granulating non-green. #Watercolor #Watercolorpainting #WorldWatercolorMonth #swatches #granulation
