Wine Grape Vineyards in South Africa by Variety, 2013-2020. Overall, the South African vineyard area shrank by 7.7% - with larger drop for reds than for whites. Of main varieties, only Sauvignon Blanc (5.5%), Muscat +8.9%), and Pinot Noir (+7.1%) grew. Sharp drop for others.
