@selfagency again(?) this is from #GrazeforMastodon if you don’t like the expanded alt text you can turn it off in the Graze settings. This isn’t part of core Mastodon.

@jaredzimmerman Yes, of course I re-enabled it. I'm clicking. Preferences -> Appearance - this is in the web client for mastodon - there's no Graze settings there.

You keep referencing #grazeformastodon - i don't know what that is - is it different than the chrome plugin?

@roygreenhilt @PlumpCat Its #GrazeforMastodon not core mastodon, you can easily turn if off in settings if you don't want it. Most alt text is a couple words to a single line at most. this is an extreme case obviously. If you don't like it turn it off in the settings or uninstall Graze.

I've mentioned it before, but #GrazeForMastodon (Chrome extension) by @jaredzimmerman makes Mastodon so much smoother.

Being able to just click Follow or Boost etc. on the pages of any instance is fantastic. *Especially* if you're on a single-person instance or small instance like me, where going off and browsing the "explore" page on bigger instances is often the best way of finding new stuff.

@mmasnick nope you’re using #grazeformastodon and there is a bug where some links appear with incorrect colors (sorry!) for the new link previews feature. I’ll get it fixed soon.
