Just a couple of days to go for the #GRCSymbioses meeting! Is anyone else getting some tourism done before the meeting???

... and of course, searching for some of your favourite #bugs...???

If you have been accepted but not yet registered, please do so ASAP, as we have to at some point set a cutoff date for registrations and replace non-registered attendees with people on the waiting list. You will be getting a reminder email soon!
#GRCsymbioses update!
Both GRC and GRS programs are now online! At the GRS, we are very pleased at the high-quality and interesting abstracts we received, but had to make tough choices when choosing who to select. 1/2

GRC: https://www.grc.org/animal-microbe-symbioses-conference/2023/
So, if you have been waitlisted, that just means we liked your abstract, but it is being held due to multiple applications from same lab (as defined by PIs in the abstract) or topic fit. So, don't despair, you might get accepted in the following weeks!
#GRCsymbioses update!
The GRS meeting is now almost fully booked! we are now 52/60, just 8 spots left! We are working hard to come up with a full program with selected talks from abstracts, and we expect to have it ready mid-late March. We will also then finish filling the last spots form the remaining pool of applications.

Full program for the GRC is now online!

The GRS meeting is now a bit over half-booked and we are working hard on selecting abstracts (tough!) and building the final program. If you are planning to attend, submit your abstract ASAP!
And remember, all GRS accepted applications will also be accepted to the GRC, in case you applied for both conferences.
#GRCsymbioses update!
We keep receiving a good ammount of applications on diverse topics for the GRS meeting. We have just accepted a new batch of applications and are now 1/3 full. If you have not yet received an acceptance (and someone from your lab has) don't despair! We are first prioritising diversity of labs/PIs. In a second (very soon-to-come) phase, we will start considering more than one person per lab if places are still available.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon in Italy!
Lastly, be sure to include an abstract when applying. We will prioritise these appl. when making decisions! We expect to accept applications in three batches: early Dec, Jan, and Feb. We are looking forward to seeing the symbiosis community together again at #GRCsymbioses! 5/5
The 2023 GRS on Animal-Microbe #symbioses is officially open for abstract submissions. This 2-day meeting will happen right before the sister GRC. All applicants are encouraged to apply for both! 1/5
