One day I’ll read a #biography of Gwen John that doesn’t emphasise that she was the sister of Augustus John or the mistress/model of Rodin. She was an incredible #painter. I sometimes go to the #Tate Britain to see whatever paintings of hers they have on display. I’m yet to see this one (girl holding a black cat). A photo of #animator #BillTytla, who in my eyes was THE #Disney animator (that isn't one of the #NineOldMen). He worked on characters from some of the greatest movies ever made, such as Grumpy from #SnowWhite, Stromboli in #Pinocchio, #Dumbo himself, Chernabog in #Fantasia, among other things. His animation is so solid, but loose, powerful and truly alive feeling.
