Today I hiked 15.9km from Thornleigh to Lindfield in Sydney, #nsw , #australia via the Great North Walk. A lot of the hike was in the Lane Cove National Park. Plenty of interesting rock formations, and plant life.

The last 2 photos are of a bridge that looks like a disused #railway #bridge, although I'm not sure that's what it was used for. The bridge is a few km west of the Ryde Rd overpass.

While Rebecca is attending the Elia Wellness conference at the San (Sydney Adventist Hospital), I'm taking the opportunity to walk some of the bush walks near Thornleigh, #nsw , where we are staying for the weekend.

The Great North Walk is a long distance walk between Sydney and Newcastle. Maybe I'll do the rest of it that i dont do this weekend at a later date.

I pre-empted the possibility of getting blisters by putting some 'bandaids' on the balls of my feet. After 14km my feet were still comfortable (ie, no blisters felt forming). I guess it worked?

Total distance of the walk was 14.3km.
