И вот как это всегда бывает у Spiders, то ли из-за недостатка ресурсов, то ли из-за недостатка таланта игра опять вышла… Невыдающейся, что ли?
Мне кажется очевидным, что студия сильно вдохновлялась BioWare; и это здорово: DA:O одна из тех игр, которые оказали на меня значительное влияние.
Но итоговый продукт почему-то никогда не приближается к работам BioWare.
Что Mars, что Bound by Flame (The Technomancer прошёл мимо меня) были приятными, не без изъяна, играми; им не хватало глобальности и глубины. Стало лучше, но…
Хотя, GreedFall по сравнению с ними сделал шаг вперёд в плане дизайна. Если в прошлые игры смотрелись по большей части просто нормально, имея и огрехи, то тут игра смотрится стильно и круто. Но вот постановка всё так же осталась слабоватой. А сюжет просто нормальным. Зато боёвку подтянули.
Хочется верить, что однажды у студии будут ресурсы и они выдадут шедевр.

It was janky, it was hard, it was boring, it was creative and it was a breath of fresh air. I played them in release order and it felt nice to see them improve after each game.
I don't know how I got into them, but I'm happy I did. The acclaim they got with Greedfall was well deserved, it's their best game yet. I can't play as much nowadays, but I'm always excited to see they grow.
