During a busy time, a neighborhood Kroger store had just one check-out open and there was a sign on the service desk that read: Closed, due to a staff shortage. Because ~40% of Kroger employees are on SNAP and other low-income programs, I wanted to change the sign to: Closed beacause we pay shit wages and no one wants to work here.
