Last #weekend of the coast of #France I saw the #GreenComet and a small #Meteroshower. #sky was a little hazy with pollution, but still quite a show before the moon rose. Returning early Monday morning I also the meteor that entered the atmosphere over #NorthernFrance #astronomy

This image is pretty much a nightmare to edit, but I managed to power through and get a decent image. Mars is *bright* and shows up with several layers of large, bright halos. To remove this, I had to go crazy with the CloneStamp tool and I'm not good at this sort of editing, so I had to darken the background all the way to black. I'll probably take another swing at editing it, but I need to take a break and work on some other stuff.

It's a freezing cold, very clear night, and I used two apps to confirm that this tiny prick of light really is "C/2022 E3 (ZTF)", and I of course didn't take a picture, but I can hereby confirm that it is there and still visible.
