they're able to maintain this no proper economic analysis bullshit because the industry won't supply data under the auspices that it's either business secrets or wrapped up in other economic data. they also refuse to innovate in any capacity or work with researchers, funders, and institutions in a good faith effort find solutions within a #greenoa model.
