I just saw a survey from a major publisher that equated open access with APCs. That is not true and it's a bad faith effort to distort and confuse researchers.

too bad the interviewer didn't ask why Springer Nature decided to stop automatic deposit in PubMed and PM Europe for authors outside of a gold oa model - or why they charge more than $10K for such a thing when other publishers have much smaller APCs. #GreenOAAllTheWay
