Whenever I can I love to photograph the sun at the horizon. The strange shapes and colors. I especially love capturing the green, purple or blue rays/flashes. Eric Rohmer named a film and Jules Verne a book after the green ray. It's the stuff sailors would go crazy about in the past. It's beauty is unceasing. It stays a split second. It's a mirage caused by light dispersion. It's a long term project. This capture is from October 2022.
