Really important topic!

"This [far-right ecologism] alternative highlights the (big) ecological footprint of the Global South, the polluting migrants, the need for “nationally-produced” superfoods, and promoting hunting as the way to manage nature but also to 're-masculinise' the nation."

"... the ideas of overpopulation, mysticism, technocratic futures for the select few, and “wilderness zones” devoid of indigenous people are as mainstream as our contempt towards immigrants or turning a blind eye to the struggles of the elderly or the LGBT community."

The far right will move in different directions wit the environmental degradation.
1) denial & identification of environmentalists as enemies
2) taking advantage of the chaotic situation (as e.g. currently in Greece with fascist militias beating up refugees accusing them of being responsible of the fires)
3) far right environmentalism (as described above). When achieving political influence, this could lead also to some authoritarian ecofascism with surveillance etc.
