@tobeB the issue is not the immorality of the #FossilFuel industry executives and shareholders who keep producing but that there is still a market. If they couldn’t sell the stuff it would be left in the ground. That’s why #ElectrifyEverything , #InsulateEverything, convert coal and #methane based industrial processes etc must be the priority. Till the market dries up these monsters will still supply the dirty drugs.
I see a German steel company is converting a #coal steel plant into a #greensteel plant 2027. We need a lot more.

@Hypx #greensteel is starting which is a surprise given the number of people that have tried to tell me that coal was essential to the process and hydrogen wouldn’t work. The science behind the reduction process seemed to be quite clear but apparently not for some.
In a climate crisis it is important to start now to decarbonize not to wait for new tech to mature. Green steel even makes sense with SMR hydrogen according to this study.
